McDonald's Euro Cup
McDonald’s is often seen as a big corporation obsessed with turnover, but in truth, it’s a company that takes care of its employees. As well as offering them free meals every day, they organise a Europe-wide football tournament for their restaurant staff every two years.
We convinced the client to turn this fantastic event into a PR opportunity and share it with the world. We wrote a human-interest story that involved the winning team from Russia going to the World Cup and one of their players meeting his football hero.
The film amassed a load of PR and goodwill towards McDonald’s. Back of the net!
